The story so far
Later auction and specialist records identify VKA 310H as a Liverpool police Mini Cooper S new in 1970. Sources describe a 2014 restoration and a 2016 show appearance. Bonhams sold the car in April 2019, after which it was reported exported to the United States. It was offered at the Amelia auction in March 2023. Claims that it served for only one year and the exact March 1970 order history derive from later seller material and should be checked against original procurement records.
